I told you I’d do it! You didn’t believe me, but I did it! Why didn’t you believe me!
This list is just for TV series and OVAs with multiple episodes– basically anything that would be classified as a “series” rather than a stand-alone movie, OVA, or special. Franchises are lumped together, hence why Lupin the 3rd is listed as a whole instead of separating it out into A Woman Named Fujiko and so on.
For anyone playing at home, there are a few newcomers to the list:

My last list had 50 entries and consisted of series and movies, but between adding new shows and condensing things down to 30 entries, a few series got the boot:
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Kogepan, Darker than Black, Genshiken, X, Mnemosyne, Astro Fighter Sunred, Magic User’s Club, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Detroit Metal City, Azumanga Daioh, Ghost in the Shell SAC, The Big O, The Legend of Black Heaven, The Legend of Koizumi, Paranoia Agent, Cromartie High School
A lot of that has to do with immediacy. I’ve rewatched certain things, and my fondness for them is considerably more fresh. If I were to rewatch certain series, they might jump up a bit. Also, for the record, the last two to get cut were Mnemosyne and Darker than Black, and Mnemosyne was a last-minute cut due to Devilman Crybaby.
Like the last list, this will be a living document, so to speak. If I watch or rewatch something worthy, it’ll get added. I bet I’ll expand it to 40 or 50 at some point as well.
